While Gmail Labs has already offered a "number of unread messages in the title bar hack, it was not very useful when using tabs in Firefox or Chrome deposited web browsers. Thanks to a new feature in Gmail Labs, you can now have the unread mail account as a favicon clearly visible when using the tab-locking feature in Firefox and Google Chrome
